Absence of local mainstream media reporting on Rep. Geoff Davis and his involvement in yesterday’s testimonies of General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker to the House Committee on Armed Services shouldn’t be surprising to anyone, since the Iraq War is going much better today than it was even a year ago. The media are always reluctant to highlight Republicans’ involvement in good or potentially good situations.

I, however, am not. I’ll tell you how it is. There are some audio clips of Rep. Davis speaking after the testimonies yesterday availabe at Talk Radio News. He spoke on energy independence, maintaining our strategic interests, and the ideal Iraq scenario.
