After all those cries of “racism” in the losing 2006 race between Senator Bob Corker and Harold Ford, Jr., one Kentucky Democrat blogger who is unhappy with Ford’s leadership has resorted to calling Ford “a pimp.”

Now, I don’t know if this blogger is an African-American or not, but if “Yellow Dog” is not an African-American I would challenge him or her to question how it might feel to be a black man living in this country in which “progressives” think we all live - where black men everywhere are immediately judged and feared by every white person who encounters them. Women lock their doors when they see a black man crossing the street. Predominantly black neighborhoods are avoided. And Democrat bloggers use “pimp” imagery to insult the leadership of an African-American man who has risen to the elite ranks of his political party before calling him a “traitor.”

The post is exceptionally ignorant:

Former Tennessee Congressman Harold Ford is such a pimp for spineless, play-republican DINOs that he managed to lose a Senate race in the Democratic Year of 2006.

And current Democratic Leadership Conference chair Harold Ford is such a pimp for whatshername that he was just on MSNBC making the desperate case for an Obama-whatshername ticket in November.

Yellow Dog was right about one thing, though:

I am fairly confident that even if Obama’s instinct for reconciliation gets the better of him, whatshername will be on the ticket over Michelle Obama’s dead body.

Still, the ignorance continues:

Nevertheless, we need to start planning now for the final dismemberment of the republicans at the DLC after Obama’s victory in November. By the traditional definition - giving aid and comfort to the enemy - the DLC is a traitor to the Democratic Party, and to the Ideals of American Liberals that have sustained the Democratic Party and led it to victory for more than a century.

Yes, the DLC gave birth to the Bill Clinton presidency. But starting in 1994, the DLC has been directly and completely responsible for every Democratic loss throughout the nation.

Yeah, Newt Gingrich, Contract with America, and failed HillaryCare had nothing at all to do with Republican victories from 1994 forward.
