Rep. Alecia Webb-Edgington will probably take the Republican nomination for State House 63rd District over Club for Growth candidate Will Terwort. She is up 61% to 39%, with just a few precincts in, but if that margin doesn’t slip terribly, she should come away with it.

Senator David Boswell will probably beat Daviess County Judge Executive Reid Haire for the Democratic nomination for 2nd District Congress to lose to Senator Brett Guthrie, the Republican nominee to replace Rep. Ron Lewis.

Senator Mitch McConnell will defeat Bruce Lunsford this fall. Lunsford defeated Greg Fischer.

Rep. Geoff Davis will crush Dr. Michael Kelley [site] this fall.

UPDATE 1

It appears that Jon Ackerson will probably come away with the Metro Council District 18 Republican nomination, the race with the sign controversy.

Obviously, Anne Northup will face Rep. John Yarmuth this fall, who is not at that big advantage that he thinks he has. With 30% of Jefferson County’s votes in, Barack Obama is winning 52% to Hillary Clinton’s 46%.

UPDATE 2

Charlie Cunningham defeated Douglas Kemper for Circuit Court Judge.

Katie King will probably win the 10-way District Court judicial race. That’s kind of a shame since her dad probably cheated and broke ethics rules to help her win. The Louisville oligarhcy continues.

John McCain has 73% of the Republican vote so far. 29% in.

Hillary Clinton is winning with 61% to Barack Obama’s 35%. 29% in.

FYI, the judicial races are also primaries with the top two vote getters advancing to the general. The primary winners have only won the right to advance.
