Hadn’t been over to YouTube in a while, and when I got there today I found this Behind The Scenes video of John McCain in Inez, KY. McCain is good, but there is also great footage of the exchange Senator Brandon Smith (R) had with Senator McCain. Smith asked McCain to comment on the “bitter” comments from Barack Obama, and before McCain answered he asked Smith what he thought about it. Smith said that he thought the comments reflected the views of someone who didn’t understand that neck of the woods very well and a standing ovation erupted. Watch the video. I think it’s important to point out that in all of the local coverage of McCain in Kentucky, I didn’t see any mention of Smith and his conversation with McCain. I’m not saying there wasn’t any, and I don’t feel like looking. I’m just saying - the first time I saw it was on L.A. Times.
