While I was sending our plutocratic Rep. John Yarmuth a question as I just mentioned in another post, I noticed he wanted to hear my story (in 200 words or less) so that he could read it on the floor of Congress. I thought I would share with you what I shared with him:

I am not sure if I can tell my story in 200 words or less, so I will share one part. Growing up, not only was I lucky enough to grow up in America, but with Ronald Reagan as my President. Hearing his words growing up and then throughout my life, I was inspired to start my own business. His words of self-responsibility and being a strong individual allowed me to believe in myself and believe in my ability to do whatever I thought I could. I have since become a successful entrepreneur and while I did it with my skills and abilities, it was President Reagan that awakened the pride and strength in me to pursue my dreams and goals.

I sure do hope he picks me. You, too, can share your story with Yarmuth.
