Lunsford Panders To The Leftest 5%

Amid the usual Big Oil and Drug distractions, W. Bruce Lunsford makes this statement when pandering the the Kos Kids:

My beliefs and core values could not be further from those of Mitch McConnell.  That is a fact.

I wouldn’t go there if i were Lunsford.  We Americans disagree on many issues, but you simply can not question the values of Senator Mitch McConnell.  He loves Kentucky and the United States and will do everything he can to work for the betterment of Kentucky and to protect the United States.

You especially can’t question McConnell’s core values if you are Bruce Lunsford and you are pandering to the leftest most crazy 5% or less of America.  Here is a sampling of insane things that have been posted at Daily Kos.

Founder Markos Moulitsas himself had this to say about the charred bodies of murdered American troops (emphasis mine):

Every death should be on the front page

Let the people see what war is like. This isn’t an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush’s folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries. They aren’t in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.

Bruce Lunsford, does Mitch McConnell have more in common with ordinary Kentuckians or these fringe kooks at Daily Kos? He’s not pandering to their insanity and delusions, is he? Why are you?

On a poll, 45% of Kos readers said they would rather have Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as President of the United States than George W. Bush. Why are you pandering to these insane people, Bruce Lunsford?

Kos readers also had this discussion on “gassing” (as in the Holocaust type of gassing) Senator Joseph Lieberman “like a dog.” Once again, emphasis mine.  **WARNING:  EXTREME STUPIDITY**

Once we lock up a Majority

where we don’t need Lieberman, I hope they will kick him to the curb like the dog he is.

He’s a much lower form of life than a dog

Weasel seems about right to describe him–if you’re kind enough to afford him vertebrate status.

John McCain’s Straight Talk Express runs on fossil fuels.

Don’t insult dogs like that

Given a choice between my dog and Lieberman, I’d gas him without thinking twice.

It’s too bad when people

use animal references to derogate people with.  Animals are not deserving of these kinds of insults!

Sharon , jeez

I know you didn’t mean it that way, but a reference to gassing a Jew needs to be hidden.
I hope you will join me in asking that this comment be hidden and that there will not be a pile on.
I will find some other comments of yours and uprate to make up for this.

Oh please

You’re being a bit hypersensitive and PC here. Dogs get gassed at animal shelters every day. I can name a bunch of other politicians I’d gas over my dog.

Why are you pandering to these people who hate Joseph Lieberman so much they call for him to be “gassed,” Bruce Lunsford? Why do you pander to these people who ignore the holocaust that is more than 30 million children murdered before they were even born, yet somehow find the audacity to compare President Bush to Adolf Hitler? Why?

The following is what Kos readers do to denigrate people who disagree with Barack & Michelle Obama. How is it racist to question a political candidates words, Bruce Lunsford? How is it appropriate to use KKK imagery when refering Republicans?

Is anyone interested in finding out how Kos readers feel about Israel?  Well, they find comfort imagining a world without Israel.  Does that get the point across?

Or is that not allowed?

Muslims, Jews, and Christians could live in peace without fear of mutual destruction.

There would be no more need for US AID or justification for Dimona.

We could bring down the Wall, send prisoners home, and families could be reunited.

We could dismantle checkpoints, open crossings, and pull down barbed wire fences.

There would be no more settlements or armed settlers because the people would be united.

We could replant trees and olive groves and rebuild battered cities.

No more suicide bombers or sniper fire, and no more dead civilians.

No more targeted killings and hell-fire missiles, or systematic demolitions.

Palestinians and Jews could live together and the world could address other issues.

What a simpler place this world would be

if there was no need for a Jewish majority - where there would otherwise be none.

Is it so hard to imagine?

Why do you pander to these fringe kooks, Bruce Lunsford?  Why?

(Big hat tip to Little Green Footballs on the Kos Kooks tracking.)
