After we wrote about this Dixie Elementary investigation a couple days ago, The ‘Ville Voice told what they knew and now today The Courier-Journal has a short column about it.
Adrian Sanford, who was hired by the district in 1997 and has been principal at Dixie since 2002, was reassigned July 1 to the central office, district spokeswoman Lauren Roberts said.
The bookkeeper, Toneke Bullitt, who has been with the district at Dixie for one year, was suspended without pay on June 25, Roberts said.
JCPS will be forced to release the outcome of their investigation. However, all information will go through the Jefferson County Sanitation Department first. You will find out whether or not the Principal and the bookkeeper conspired to steal money, but nothing else unless you read it here.
If it is true that the Principal maybe never should have been hired in the first place, the Jefferson County Information Sanitation Department won’t let you find that out. You’ll have to find out here. If it is true that maybe JCPS bears some responsibility for what happened, the Jefferson County Information Sanitation Department won’t let you find that out. You’ll have to find out here.
The JCPS spin room will be spinning so fast that a wise new energy policy may emerge - hook generators up to the JCPS spin room (and Abramson) and power the city for days at a time.
If anyone attempts to circumvent the Jefferson County Information Sanitation Department and actually uncovers something that would indicate that maybe the Principal never should have been hired in the first place, and that maybe JCPS bears some responsibility for the situation occurring, expect that person to be pointed at, laughed at, and labeled. The label will probably be one of the typical words that some people use when they are trying to shut someone up. It will probably be something they have found useful before when they found themselves in the uncomfortable situation of hearing something they didn’t want to hear. It will probably be something along the lines of “racist,” “sexist,” “homophobe,” or “fascist.” Of course, the use of these words is usually completely absurd and designed only to shout others down. Expect so-called journalists to say, “that’s not the story.” However, that other story that should be told will not be told at all, unless it’s told here.
That said, C-J says it couldn’t find contact information for Toneke Bullitt, the former bookkeeper. I can’t either, really. However there is a Toneke Bullitt with this mailing address:
PO Box 0103
Louisville, KY 40256-0103
Is this the right Toneke Bullitt?

why should the bookkeeper be the only one suspended without pay I believe until the investigation is completed they both should be.
