Blue Grass Red State

Blue Grass Red State was started by Jefferson Poole (Louisville) and quickly became one of the most significant web sites in Kentucky for Conservative thought and news. In April 2009 the web site went through a clumsy redesign under the new Editor-in-Chief Rick Abbott (Barren County).  At this time the focus of the site changed slightly to reflect more of the Conservative news across the state by bringing in a terrific crew of bloggers from everywhere in the Commonwealth.

While diverse in our backgrounds, we hold two things in common: We are passionate about Conservative values and we are passionate about Kentucky.
