i blame jcps for letting this go on as long as it has, for in 2003 parents, teachers, and staff started reporting problems to jcps and trouble shooter about his unprofessional prejudice attitude. I removed my children from this school and put them on a hard ship so my children would not be subjected to his verbal abuse to teachers during his morning and afternoon announcements!

I can't recall where I was reading an article on the event, but I do remember that I passed over Obama's quotation of Scripture without batting an eye. Not because I agreed, but because it was so absolutely expected that it went in one ear and out the other. I hadn't realized until now how easy it is to be desensitized even to outrageous claims when they're made this frequently.

So... much... wrong... Leaving out for the moment the Obama-McCain politicking, lifting the federal ban on oil drilling WON'T DO ANYTHING. That puts it up to the states (which I know you love). Good luck getting the governors of California, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida to sign off on lifting their own state bans. Do you have any idea how much money flows into each of those states on a yearly basis from tourism alone? Do you really think the governors will take the chance of ruining what for a few of those states is really their only major industry? And then, even if they did, the oil goes automatically into the world market (controlled by OPEC), for which our piddling offshore oil is a mere drop in the bucket. So, to recap, potential massive environmental damage and practically guaranteed loss of tourism dollars for a decrease in gas prices by maybe $0.10... in 2020. Hmm.
